By heart, Phil Parnell is a country boy originally from Wagga Wagga. As a kid he attended boarding school at Saint Ignatius’ College, Riverview (Sydney). He started off working as a fix it man in Wagga and later worked for Volkswagen in Sydney assembling the VW campervans. After that he was a property manager on the South Coast for many years. On the South Coast he built a house that ran on 100% sustainable energy, where he lived with his family. Later on he realised that the job that satisfied him the most, was fixing things as a handyman. So this led him to start his handyman business in the Canberra region, and he has been here ever since. He has been contracted to fix houses by various real estate agents such as Peter Blackshaw Real Estate, as well as taking on his own clients including Telstra, NRMA and Lululemon. The great thing about Farmer Phil is that he has a unique ability to fix just about anything. He is a very friendly and efficient man who loves helping people fix things in and around their houses.
